MANAGEMENT TEAM
Bennie Buys (Managing Director), MEng (Mech), PrEng, CPEng, RPEQ, IntePE(Aus)
Committed to delivering excellence, he ensures unwavering dedication and quality in every project, regardless of scale or client, whether it be a small-scale operation or a large Oil Giant.
Holding a Master’s degree in Structural Integrity, he possesses a profound theoretical understanding of crucial subjects such as fatigue, strength of materials, and finite element analysis. His practical expertise extends from designing the largest fabricated bullet vessels to conducting advanced finite element analysis on stress corrosion crack growth in Tar Separators, successfully executed within an operational plant.
André Buys (Director), BEng (Mech), PrEng, CPEng, RPEQ, IntePE(Aus)
His field of expertise is pipe stress analysis, finite element analysis and design of pressurized equipment to most of the recognized international Codes. One of his key strengths is to perform out of the ordinary pipe stress analysis for process plants. One of his mayor projects where he was the lead designer where more than 1000 isometrics were checked for stress, was for the new LPG import facility at Saldanha Bay. This project was a high profile project due to the potential danger of this facility storing more than 10k m3 of LPG. Therefore, advance pipe stress analysis like seismic and vibration were performed.
He is committed to deliver only quality work and on time for all the clients and is regarded as one of the specialist in his field.
